Bike Week

Bike Week

As part of Cork Bike Week, pedal your way to the Laneway Gallery for a hands-on collage workshop led by artist Silvio Severino. Whether you're a seasoned collagist or picking up a glue stick for the first time, this is a relaxed and creative stop on the Bike Week route, open to all. Participants will explore the playful possibilities of collage in a welcoming, informal setting, with materials provided and good company guaranteed. After the workshop, Darren McAdam-O'Connell invites everyone to continue the evening at the Friary from 21:00 to 23:00, first come first served, for more making, more craic, and a chance to keep the creative momentum going well into the night. Free to attend. Bring your bike, bring your curiosity.

World Collage Day

World Collage Day

Come as you are, leave with an artwork. No experience needed, no pressure — just paper, glue, and the kind of quiet focus that reminds you why making things with your hands matters. Collage is one of the most democratic art forms there is. It asks nothing of you except curiosity. Join us to celebrate International Collage Day and make sure more people in Cork get to experience it for themselves.
